What types of artificial intestines are available?

We offer collagen casings (Nippi), as well as plastic and paper casings. There is also a choice of strainers (tubed) for ease of use.

In what calibers are they available?

Collagen ones are available in sizes Φ21–37, while plastic/paper ones are available in sizes Φ40–120. They are also available in all sizes for automatic filling machines.

Are they edible or inedible?

We have options for edible (mainly collagen) and non-edible (plastic/paper) casings, to cover different applications (e.g., jelly, crabmeat).

What does “tubed” mean and why should I choose them?

“Tubed” means that the casings are pre-positioned in a tube for faster filling, consistent diameter and cleaner process in automatic fillers. Available in all sizes.
